Manchester Collective announces inaugural season

12:44, 20th January 2017

The Manchester Collective’s inaugural season includes tangos and Bulgarian folk tunes; a newly commissioned song cycle adapted from an Anthony Burgess novel; and a cabaret project.

The season is completed with three classical programmes, which will be conducted by music director Rakhi Singh. These include Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht, Beethoven’s string quartet Op. 131 ‘The Hunt’, and Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time.

In 2017, performances will take place in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, and Cardiff. Each programme will be live streamed online.

Tickets cost £12.
