Vanessa Reed, chief executive of PRS for Music Foundation, has won the music category of the Hospital Club’s 100 Awards.
The awards celebrate the 100 most influential and innovative people in the UK’s creative industries.
Accepting the award, Reed said: ‘As a funder I can only be as impressive as the people we support and the partners we work with, so this award is for the hundreds of songwriters, composers, artists and organisations we help every year who create exceptional music and inspire audiences across the world.
‘It’s a privilege to work with such talented people and I’m extremely proud of the role we play at PRS for Music Foundation in supporting their success in the UK and overseas.’
Reed was presented with the award at a ceremony on 4 October by Kanya King MBE, founder of the MOBO Awards.
