4:33, 14th August 2017

Casio Music has unveiled four new keyboard models.

LK-135, LK-265, CTK-1500 and CTK-3500 are now available in stores across the UK, and feature a number of functions to enhance the playing experience, from App compatibility to Dance Music Mode.

All models feature the Dance Music Mode, which allows users to mix loops, drum patterns and effects together to create dance music tracks.

Other features include light up keys (available on the LK-135 and LK-265), which shows the player which keys to press, and easy to use lessons (LK-135), with an LCD screen and voice prompts helping learners with the basics.

The LK-265 and CTK-3500 are compatible with Chordana, a free music app which displays notes graphically in real time within a piano roll window on the user’s tablet. These models also offer touch-sensitive keys to encourage expressive playing, and have 400 built-in tones.

The CTK-1500 features 70 accompaniment styles, and the LK-265 has 150 rhythms suited to a range of music styles.

Neil Evans, divisional manager at Casio Music UK, said the company believed the new range ‘will ignite the passion of the budding musician’.

He continued: ‘The new models feature some innovative functionality such as the Chordana Play App, which all beginners will no doubt benefit from.’
