A new series of free rush-hour concerts at WC1's Conway Hall.

A free series of concerts bringing music to all by offering a unique and personal take on the classical recital experience.

Rhinegold Publishing is putting on six concerts a year and each concert will be followed by an informal Q&A with the artist and a complimentary drinks reception.

Artists will range from world-renowned performers to those just starting their career. What will unite the artists is that each and every one has been specially selected by the editor of a Rhinegold Publishing magazine, including Classical Music, International Piano, and Opera Now.

For our second concert of the season, renowned conductor Andrew Litton returns to his first love – the piano – for this very special recital.

Based on scores transcribed by fellow pianist Steven Osborne, the programme spans four decades of Oscar Peterson’s legacy and launches Andrew’s forthcoming CD release, A Tribute to Oscar Peterson.

The Q&A will be conducted by Claire Jackson, Editor of International Piano.

Free concert including complimentary drinks reception for all ticket holders.

As a solo recitalist and chamber musician, Charles Owen has played for numerous concert societies and established festivals in the UK and internationally. His first solo disc for SOMM featuring the piano music of Leos Janácek was listed as a “key” recording in The Penguin Good CD Guide. Today he performs Bach’s Partitas.

This concert is followed by a Q&A which will be conducted by Claire Jackson, Editor of International Piano magazine.

Mary Bevan recently made her house debut at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro to much acclaim, with critics noting the “impact” of her stand out performance. Here she performs music for voice and piano, accompanied by ENO repetiteur, Richard Peirson.

This concert is followed by a Q&A which will be conducted by Ashutosh Khandekar, Editor of Opera Now magazine.

Every ticket-holder will be guaranteed a seat and a drink; there will be a limited number of places available on the day on a first-come, first-served basis, but on-the-day seats do not include a complimentary drink. There are 150 pre-registered tickets available, and each ticket must be applied for separately.
