Re-staging / tour of Strange Fish... late 2010 into 2011
For the first time in DV8’s history, Lloyd Newson would like to rework one of his classic productions, Strange Fish.
The work toured internationally to great acclaim in 1992 and was turned into a film for the BBC the following year, winning numerous awards.
The work is an exploration into a woman’s search for friendship, love and faith, featuring an original score by Jocelyn Pook and Adrian Johnston.

We publish and distribute our music worldwide. Our Music Rights & Contracts team administers the issue and maintenance of publishing agreements and licences for our Music titles, and is responsible for licensing Music rights for performance, broadcast, and in all media.
We require a full time Contracts Manager to join the Rights & Contracts team. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the issue of all agreements and licences supporting OUP’s own Music publications, and working with editors to ensure that best terms are obtained, while ensuring contracts are concluded in
time for publication.
The Manager will also be responsible for registering works with music collecting societies and other bodies, and dealing with reversions, reassignments, and general contractual and royalty queries. The Manager will
work closely with the Rights & Licensing Manager, and will be supported by an Administrator, working for the whole team.
Applicants will have substantial experience in managing contracts and licences in a publishing environment and ideally have a background in the classical sector of printed music. Applicants will have the ability to work within a team and to manage a busy and substantial workload, while maintaining a thorough attention
to detail.
Excellent personal and business interface skills are required for contacts with editors and production staff in-house, and with a range of composers, editors, and authors.
