Russian-born soprano Ilona Domnich is a rising opera star, chosen by Opera Now in 2014 as one of ‘a new generation of sopranos who are destined to have impressive careers.’

In this recital, Ilona explored the characters and musical interpretations of her operatic heroines, as celebrated in her recent Signum disc, Surrender: Voices of Persephone; ‘my operatic women and their voices help me examine their journeys and choices.’

Ilona was joined by pianist and conductor, Simon Over; conductor on the Surrender disc.
