Askonas Holt runners raising money in memory of Robert Rattray

2:59, 5th February 2018

On 11 March, more than 25 members of the Askonas Holt team will take part in the Stroke Association’s Resolution Run London 2018 in memory of Robert Rattray, who passed away last week from a stroke.

Team members will take on a variety of distances, from 5k to 15k, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Rattray joined Lies Askonas in 1977 before becoming joint chief executive of Askonas Holt when the company merged with Harold Holt. The artist management company paid tribute to him as ‘a beloved friend and colleague’ who will be ‘greatly missed’.

Donations of any size will help the Stroke Association to provide its services, campaign for better stroke care, and to undertake vital research. £5 can help the charity offer 15 people a range of resources to begin to come to terms with the effects of stroke, while £52 could buy the safe transportation of ten participants’ blood samples in a study looking at genetic causes of stroke.

Donate to the campaign at justgiving.com/fundraising/askonas-holt or by texting AHRR55 £5 or AHRR55 £10 to 70070.
