Thomas Bowes is to perform 22 concerts in 29 days in churches across the UK to launch his first solo recording.

The violinist, who has been a soloist in over 150 film scores including Bond films Spectre and Skyfall, The Hunger Games trilogy, and The King’s Speech, will perform Bach’s complete Sonatas and Partitas during the tour.

His ‘Bach pilgrimage’ will begin and end in St Mary Abchurch, London, visiting churches from Folkestone to St Andrews in the intervening days and raising money for local charities. The performances will not be ticketed, but donations will be appreciated.

The tour will take place throughout May in anticipation of the June release of ‘Sei Solo’, Bowes’ first solo recording.
