The Wiltshire Music Centre (WMC) in Bradford on Avon has announced its 20th anniversary autumn season.

Pianist Joanna MacGregor and jazz vocalist Claire Martin OBE are artists in residence, while the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment is orchestra in residence.

Highlights include:

  • The Doric String Quartet will perform Mendelssohn’s Octet with young quartet in residence, the Behn Quartet.
  • The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain make their WMC debut
  • A community-inspired performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion by the English Touring Orchestra, as part of First World War centenary commemorations
  • Jazz artists include Courtney Pine CBE, Alex Mendham and his Orchestra and the Dunlop Sisters
  • A schools festival with musicians from the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightment and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s disabled-led ensemble, BSO Resound.
