Yamaha launches Silent Piano concert season

10:32, 25th July 2017

Yamaha Music London has announced its inaugural Silent Piano concert season.

The four-concert series will see Thomasz Zyrmont, Eren Önsoy, Andrew Zolinsky and Varvara Tarasova perform on Yamaha’s Silent Pianos, with the audience experiencing the music through headphones, remotely and wirelessly.

At some concerts, audience members will be able to roam around the performance space.

Yamaha Music London’s Nigel Hill described the series as ‘a rare chance for our guests to hear virtuoso musicians up-close and personal, whilst experiencing the next chapter in piano innovation.’

The concerts will take place at Yamaha Music London at 6.30pm on 7, 14, 21 and 28 September.

Tickets are free of charge, but are limited to 40 per performance. Early booking is recommended.
