Dorset Opera Festival welcomes the Royal Opera House in ‘Covent Garden comes to Dorset’

11:26, 18th April 2018

The Dorset Opera Festival will host singers from the Royal Opera House in a new concert at Milton Abbey Heritage Church.

The concert will feature performances of excerpts from well-known operas by four singers currently enrolled on the Jette Parker Young Artists (JPYA) programme, which nurtures the next generation of international opera stars.

The Dorset Opera Festival, now in its 45th year, has been dubbed the South West’s mini Glyndebourne. It is held at Bryanston near Blandford Forum every July, and this year will stage the British premiere of Massenet’s Le Cid, and Puccini’s La Bohème.
