In 2019-20 she returns to the Metropolitan Opera in New York to sing Liù in Puccini’s Turandot.

Gerzmava made her Royal Opera House debut in 2008 as Tatiana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. She went on to sing Mimì in Puccini’s La bohème (2009), Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni (2012), Amelia in Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra (2013) and Liù in Turandot (2017). She returns to Covent Garden next summer to perform Elizabeth de Valois in Verdi’s Don Carlo.

In 2011, Gerzmava sang at the opening night of the BBC Proms in Janáček’s Glagolithic Mass conducted by Jiří Bělohlávek. She has also performed at Buckingham Palace with the orchestra of the Royal Opera House under Antonio Pappano, and gave a solo recital at Holland Park accompanied by Ekaterina Ganelina in 2015.
