Antony Feeny

Antony Feeny is doing a PhD at Royal Holloway University of London researching the business of classical music, and in particular the financing of opera and orchestral music.  An economist and accountant by background, he has spent most of his working life as a management consultant carrying out many business, strategic, financial and organisational consulting projects for public, private, and non-profit organisations in a wide range of industries.  He lived in Thailand, Singapore, Korea and other Asian countries for some 25 years while working for his own and for global consulting companies, co-authored a book on management and edited two other books, worked in development in Vietnam, and taught at a business school in China.  His monthly articles in Classical Music aim to bring more data and greater clarity to the debates on the business and economic issues affecting classical music.
