Rhinegold Media & Events, now part of the Mark Allen Group, was founded in 2013 as a sister company to Rhinegold Publishing. We create high quality multimedia content and live events that increase access to classical music and the performing arts, celebrate excellence in the UK arts education sector and support the development of world-class teachers.
Our events and digital content are the best in their field, engaging and inspiring teachers and music-lovers alike, through recitals, seminars, workshops and stunning videos.
Building on the decades of knowledge from Rhinegold Publishing’s stable of magazines, our content is real, informative and fun.
Our mission is to build on Rhinegold Publishing’s modus operandi of high quality, engagement and access, tipping these long-standing values off the page and into the event sphere.
We are committed to increasing participation in classical music, making a real and outstanding contribution to the arts CPD sector, developing the UK’s performing arts and education scene, and celebrating excellence within the industry.
We do this through offering free access to our events and digital content wherever possible, creating an international platform for the UK performing arts sector at our CPD conferences for music and drama, and through celebration of the success stories in the education sector at the Music Teacher Awards for Excellence.
We also aim to offer a unique perspective on the event experience; perhaps our guests will enjoy high calibre artists at close quarters, chat to our magazine editors at a reception, network with peers at our CPD conference, sip a free glass of wine with fellow arts lovers, enjoy their first classical concert in our informal setting, or be one of only 30 lucky attendees at a hands-on workshop. We hope to refresh traditional formats and throw in a little of the unexpected along the way, drawing a new audience to a sector we’re fiercely passionate about.
Through our multimedia content we aim to offer a glimpse into the music and performing arts industry; from unique recital footage and intimate and informal interviews with leading artists to beautifully-shot documentaries and CPD seminars and workshops.
