Join us as we delve into the unique soundworld of the saxophone quartet. Following their debut album ‘Flux’, the Ferio Saxophone Quartet launch their latest Chandos disc featuring Baroque transcriptions at our November recital. Winners of the Philharmonia/Martin Musical Ensemble Award and the Royal Over-Seas League’s Ensemble Competition, the quartet are praised for their ‘tonal subtlety and expressiveness’ (Gramophone) and ‘playing of the highest level’ (Classical Music).
