Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre to launch £1 ticket scheme

10:15, 5th December 2019

The Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh will offer £1 tickets in a bid to make theatre more accessible.

Providing discounted tickets for selected shows and performances –including all in-house productions, co-productions and a handful of visiting productions – the scheme will be available to under 25s or those receiving Job Seeker’s, Employment Support Allowance, Universal Credit or Carer’s Allowance.

In order to purchase tickets at the discounted prices, theatre goers can either head to the Traverse Theatre box office in person with their proof of age and or JSA/ESA/UC status or register online.

Due to limited availability, the theatre recommends applying for your tickets as soon as possible – £1 tickets are available as soon as the show is on sale.
