Original 2019 cast of Malory Towers
Malory Towers to run at the Southbank Centre this summer9:08, 12th February 2020
The musical adaption will be playing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall this July and August.
Following on from its successful 2019 run, Emma Rice’s adaption of Enid Blyton’s famous children book series, is embarking on another UK tour, which will conclude with a run at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in London from 27 July to 31 August. The show will be a co-production between Theatre by the Lake, Keswick; David Pugh and Wise Children.
David Pugh has said of the dates at Queen Elizabeth Hall, ‘This wonderful show should be available for as many people as possible. Tickets at the Southbank Centre range from just £15 to £49.50, but for everyone who books before 1 March, all children can go for half price.’
The tour will commence at Theatre by the Lake, Keswick (27 March – 18 April) before heading to The Lowry, Salford (21 – 25 April); Nottingham Theatre Royal (28 April – 2 May); Theatre Royal Bath (5 – 9 May); Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham (12 – 16 May); Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne (19 – 23 May); Festival Theatre, Malvern (26 – 30 May); Norwich Theatre Royal (23 – 27 June); Chester Storyhouse (30 June – 4 July); Birmingham Repertory Theatre (7 – 11 July); Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury (14 – 18 July); Sheffield Lyceum Theatre (21 – 25 July); before culminating at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London (27 July – 31 August)
